Blue Banyan makes its zabutons here in the UK, conforming to the classic design but ensuring by the quality of production and finishing we require that the mat gives excellent comfort and support, cushioning the knees and ankles during even lengthy meditation.

The extra thick mat is designed with additional comfort in mind.

The mat is filled with Recycled Foam – Reconstructed foam made from off-cuts of foam products, processed at high pressure until the small pieces are formed into blocks and then cut to shape to fit our mat sleeves. The weight of this particular mat can vary due to the nature of the recycled foam that it is formed with.

The mat is covered with heavy-gauge 100% cotton fabric – strong, durable, comfortable and finished to a high standard. Given the nature of its intended use a Flat Mat can be easily cleaned and maintained in its pristine condition by occasionally brushing it down using a stiff brush dipped in lukewarm water.
